Iranian state media broadcast footage of pro-government rallies as the government continues to crack-down on deadly protests.
The network ran live video of the rallies in cities throughout Iran after six days of anti-government protests aimed at the regime’s corruption, weak economy, and a jump in food prices.
The footage shows demonstrators waving state flags and signs supporting Iran’s Islamist government.
This comes after the country’s supreme leader said the unrest amounts to meddling by the “enemies of Iran.”
Meanwhile, anti-government protesters stormed military facilities across the Middle Eastern country.
Protesters were filmed inciting a riot outside an army base in the city of Shahinshar, which is 200 miles south of the capital Tehran.
The facility is reportedly a base of Basij, a volunteer militia that is part of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard.
Several structures were set on fire, and protesters were throwing projectiles at Islamic Guards.
At least 30 people have been killed in the Iranian protests.
